Want some excitement and fun in playing DOTA 2 competitively with friends?

It is the time of the year again! Can’t wait to experience awesome games of DOTA 2? That’s right, TeleMatch is back again with more excitement and fun!

Grab your teammates and join us at TeleMatch. You get to play against other teams and stand a chance to win cool prizes from Aftershock! Whether you are a casual or a veteran in DOTA 2, we encourage you to form your teams and experience competitive play!

No team? No problem! Register as a stand-in if you do not mind helping teams whose player(s) cannot play for whatever reasons on the day itself. This means that you will have to be on standby on the day of TeleMatch, and may or may not get a chance to play. Stand-ins will be assigned to the teams based on the roles.

In TeleMatch, there will be prizes for not just the winning team. >_<

TeleMatch will be live-streamed and casted on SOOS OIO Twitch.

TeleMatch Rules:

Team Sizes & Lineup Info

  1. You can register as a team of 6 players (min. 3).
    • Up to 1 substitute players are allowed (sub).
  2. If your team is incomplete, you can continue to find stand-ins or request for registered stand-ins.
    • Each team can only change a registered stand-in once.
    • Registered stand-ins will be assigned to the team according to the roles requested whenever possible.
  3. If a team replaces a player within 12 hours before the game starts, +10 team kills for the opposing teams who are playing against this team.
  4. The team captain needs to provide us with the replacement player’s name and IGN.
  5. The minimum number of players in a team to participate in TeleMatch is FOUR (4) but no handicap is given.
  6. Each player can only play for one team throughout this TeleMatch.
  7. There is no penalty when the 6th player plays in any of the games.

Format

  1. Game Mode: Captains Mode
  2. Side Selection: Coin Toss
  3. Group Stage: Round-Robin Best-of-1 (BO1).
    • In each group, each team will play against each other at least once.
  4. The top two teams from each group will proceed to the semi-finals. How the top two teams are determined:
    • The team with the most wins is the top team.
    • If there is a draw in the number of wins, the team with the higher number of team kills is the top team.
  5. NO GG CALL since the number of kills is considered for proceeding past the group stages and prizes.
    • Should a team call for GG and not cancel, we will award +15 team kills, +2 individual kills and + 2 individual assists to the opposing team.
  6. Semi-finals and Finals: Single-elimination (BO1)

Player Conduct

  1. No all chat bm.
    • Everyone’s here to make friends and have fun together.
  2. No fountain farming.
  3. No intentional feeding.
  4. No GG call.
  5. Please use the in-game name (IGN) and team names that you have registered when playing TeleMatch

Penalties

  1. Team Captain to check in on discord 30 minutes before the game. Games may start earlier/ be delayed if the previous game has ended earlier/ not ended.
  2. 5 minutes late => -30 seconds Reserve Time
  3. 10 minutes late => -70 seconds Reserve Time
  4. 15 minutes late => -110 seconds Reserve Time
  5. 20 minutes late => Forfeit of that match (not the whole TeleMatch)

Score & Prizes

  1. Besides the winning team, there are prizes determined by kills and wins
  2. Prizes can only be claimed in Singapore.
  3. Prizes must be collected physically
    • You are allowed to assign someone to collect on your behalf.
  4. Link to check the scores will be provided when TeleMatch starts.

Pauses

  1. Each team has a total pause time of 10 minutes per game.
  2. Strictly for technical issues
    • e.g. Server/ Internet disconnectivity
  3. No restarting of lobby due to misclicks
    • e.g. Choose wrong hero, add wrong skill
